Gardenscape Bulk Bark Products are stockpiled at three of our company’s production plants, located in Emlenton, PA, Wadesboro & Lilesville, NC, Gouverneur, NY and Archbold, OH. Each of our facilities has over 100 acres to stockpile our bulk products.

Bulk products are stockpiled, composted and screened prior to delivery. Our pine fines are available as fresh or aged with 5/8” or ¾” screen sizes available. We can custom mix adding lime, sand, perlite and other products to fit your needs.

We are currently expanding our bulk product program to include nursery mixes and professional soils at our North Carolina location. They include:

Rain Garden Mix. This mixture consists of 80-85% washed, medium coarse sand and 15-20% aged, screened pine fines. It is an excellent blend for use with a heavier clay base soil and will yield drainage rates in excess of 2" per hour, while providing proper support for vegetation.

Rain Gardens or Bio-Retention Basins as they are known in the construction world, are utilized in the reduction of water pollutants that occur as a result of storm water runoff. EPA Stormwater Phase II regulations require installation of these devices in association with runoff that typically occurs from hard surfaced parking areas and buildings.

GS-400 Nursery Soil Mix. This mix is a tried and tested mix, specifically blended for container growing of annuals, perennials, herbs and woody plants in 1 gallon to 7 gallon pots. Ingredients for this nursery mix includes, 50% composted pine bark fines for stability, 40% Canadian sphagnum peat moss for moisture retention, 5% washed silica sand for proper density, 5% perlite for added drainage and 10# of lime per yard for pH balance. Trace elements may be added upon request at additional charge.

Bed Mix. A unique soil blend that produces a high performance growing media for landscape bed applicatons. This soil will not only drain quickly and yet retain adequate moisture, but it will remain friable over several years. Excellent mix for flowering display planting beds where replanting may occur seasonally, or several times per year. This mix consists of a 90% top soil blend (course sand and composted wood fiber) and 10% permitil soil conditioner. Trace elements may be added upon request at additional charge.

Turkey Compost Soil Blend. An enhanced soil blend that can be used "as is" for a high performance, planting medium in landscape beds and container applications, or utilized as a soil additive to modify heavy, clay soils. Adds important organic materials and natural fertilizers to any planting application. The ingredients for our Turkey Compost Soil Blend consists of 40% Turkey compost (sand, Turkey manure, pine fines), 50% aged, screened pine fines, 10% fresh pine fines. Trace elements may be added upon request at additional charge.

Our other bulk products available are hardwood, cypress, Michigan peat, mushroom manure, certified playground cushion and top soil. We also have dyed mulches in red, black, and brown.
